Dr. Tatyana Petukhova is a double boarded dermatologist, certified in both dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery. She is a specialist in procedural dermatology such as Mohs surgery and as well facial reconstruction, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatological procedures.
Dr. Petukhova specializes in skin cancer surgery. She also performs rejuvenating cosmetic dermatological procedures while using evidence based procedures.
She received her Bachelor's degree in Genetics and Developmental Biology at Dartmouth University. She went on to perform research at the National Institutes of Health in neurobiology. She received her medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner school of Medicine along with a Master Degree.
She performed her dermatology residency at the University of California, Davis, where she did clinical studies on skin cancer prevention. She then went on to perform a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to joining Goldman Dermatology, she worked several years performing Mohs and skin cancer surgery at Weill Cornell Hospital.
She has published academic works in the most impressive dermatology journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, JAMA Dermatology as well JAMA Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
